The Origins of PSYCH-K®: A Method Born from Heart and Science
Created in 1988 by Rob Williams, PSYCH-K® stemmed from a strong intuition: traditional approaches to change don’t always reach the root of our blocks.
He developed a process based on:
- Applied kinesiology (communication with the body)
- Neuroscience (balancing the brain hemispheres)
- Energy psychology
- Deep listening to the rhythm of the being
Its goal: to allow for sustainable change—without reliving trauma—in a deeply respectful space.
A Method Supported by Mind-Body Science
Dr. Bruce H. Lipton, a cellular biologist known for his work in epigenetics, strongly supports the PSYCH-K® approach.
In his book The Biology of Belief, he shows that our environment and beliefs impact our health and life more than our DNA.

How Does PSYCH-K® Work?
The subconscious governs about 95% of our daily thoughts and behaviors—often without our awareness. It runs like an autopilot program based on what we’ve learned, experienced, or internalized—sometimes very early, sometimes unconsciously.
PSYCH-K® allows you to:
- Identify limiting beliefs that are blocking your growth
- Transform them into supportive beliefs, in just a few minutes
- Activate a new state of inner balance, without forcing anything
This happens through:
- Muscle testing to communicate with the body and subconscious
- A specific posture or movement called a Balance
- An integration that supports the rewriting of the belief at the deepest level.
- An action to implement in order to check whether the new belief has truly been integrated.
